Yacht charter turns to be a most preferred alternative holiday option in Turkey during the recent years.
A gulet is a traditional design of a two-masted or three-masted wooden sailing boat (the most common design has two masts) from the southwestern coast of Turkey, particularly built in the coastal towns of Bodrum and Marmaris; although similar boats can be found all around the eastern Mediterranean. The gulets vary in size from 14 mt to 50 mt and provide accommodation from 4 guests to 35 guets depending on the size.
Gulets and motoryachts can be found to suit all budget ranges. Galeo Yachting with its extensive fleet will provide the best possible alternatives to meet your requirements.
Things to consider when renting a Yacht Gulet charter normally runs on a weekly base. It is possible to book a charter for less than a week, but in high season this is not possible. Almost all yachts, except some high end motor yachts, try to get their scheduling with start/end days being Saturdays during high season.
Weekly rates include yacht’s insurance, fuel for main engines for up to 4 hrs cruising per day, fuel for generators ( hrs per day vary from yacht to yacht) , crew wages, Turkish municipality harbour fees.
Extra expenses are food & drinks, watersports expenses, land arrangements and in case the clients wish to visit Greek islands formality expenses while clearing in/out Turkey/Greece, Greek harbour/ marina fees and Greek cruising tax.
Gulet charter rates vary depending on size, number of cabins, comfort, equipment on board and season.
Once you decide to make a gulet charter, please get into contact with us – providing details (charter dates, number of people, preferred ports, daily or weekly budget range) so that we can offer all the possible alternatives to suit your needs.
