Charter Suggestions

Please find below two of our suggested itineraries;

 1- BODRUM – GOCEK 

 

DAY 1           BODRUM – ORAKLAR 

A pleasant little town, Bodrum has acquired something of a Bohemian reputation from the time when dissident artists and writers were exiled there in the early twentieth century. In a lovely setting, it has become a popular tourists resort over the past few years. The imposing crusader castle in the bay, built by the Knights of St. John, is home to the best underwater archaeological museum in the Mediterranean, and is well worth a visit. Among the artifacts on display  are finds from what is thought to be the earliest known shipwreck dating from the Bronze Age. Oraklar Island is a rocky little island with some pleasant, sheltered coves for swimming and water sports.

DAY 2           KNIDOS – PALAMUTBUKU – DATCA

After breakfast, sail to Knidos and explore the impressive ruins of the ancient city.Palamutbuku is one of the hidden treasures along the Datca peninsula. Return to Datca (a small and lively town) for a night out.

DAY 3           DATCA – AKTUR – BOZBURUN 

After breakfast, we arrive at Aktur (Ciftlik Harbour). A good stop for swimming,and lunch. After lunch, passing by Dislice Island we arrive at Bozburun. Dinner and overnight.                  

DAY 4           LORYMA – SERCE – KADIRGA

Continue further to explore Hisaronu Bays. Loryma is an ancient town with the remains of a large fortress dating  from 430 BC. Cruising to the east, you will arrive in Serce, a completely land-locked harbour. A narrow entrance pens out dramatically into fjord-like bay. Ideal for swimming and water sports. Continue to Kadirga Bay.

DAY 5           KUMLUBUKU – MARMARIS

Continue to Kadirga Bay. As the name suggests, Kumlubuku consists of a long sandy beach surrounded by forested mountains. Time to enjoy a leisurely meal, swim and snorkel in the aquarium clear waters. Marmaris for overnight.

DAY 6           EKINCIK (CAUNOS)

After a leisurely breakfast, sail to Ekincik, a protected bay ideal for water-sports. An excursion with a small boat to the antique city of Caunos, also a breeding ground for Caretta Caretta turtles, will be the day’s highlight. After a lunch riverside, you may wander through the ruins of several temples, an antique theater, baths and tombs. Return to the yacht and enjoy what your chef has prepared for you.

DAY 7           SARSALA –  CLEOPATRA’S BATH – SIRALIBUKU

 Sarsala Bay is a safe anchorage place ideal for swimming and watersports. You can just relax and enjoy a nice drink onboard. Aafter lunch, anchor in  quiet Cleopatra’s Bath  bay with spectacular views with a pine forest covering the surrounding hill side. The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Then, leave for Siralibuku for the night.

DAY 8           GOCEK – DALAMAN

After breakfast, leave your yacht in Gocek with wishes to meet again.

 

2- GOCEK – SYMI – MARMARIS

DAY 1           GOCEK – SARSALA

Fly to Dalaman Airport to join your yacht in Gocek; only half an hour away from the airport. The charming village of Gocek is an environmental protection area and main yachting centre. Sail to Sarsala for swimming & a quiet night.

DAY 2         SARSALA – EKINCIK (CAUNOS)

After a leisurely breakfast, sail to Ekincik, a protected bay ideal for water-sports. An excursion with a small boat to the antique city of Caunos (optional at additional cost), also a breeding ground for Caretta Caretta turtles, will be the day’s highlight. After a lunch riverside, you may wander through the ruins of several temples, an antique theater, baths and tombs. Return to the yacht and enjoy what your chef has prepared for you.                

DAY 3        EKINCIK – SERCE HARBOUR – LORYMA – BOZBURUN

Cruising early morning to the West, you will arrive in Serce, a completely land-locked harbour. A narrow entrance pens out dramatically into fjord-like bay. Ideal for swimming and water sports. Loryma is an ancient town with the remains of a large fortress dating from 430 BC. Bozburun is a wonderful fishing village.                      

DAY 4        BOZBURUN – CIFTLIK BAY – DATCA

Continue further to explore Hisaronu Bays, arrive in Ciftlik Bay. Datca is a small but lively town with good shopping facilities. Formalities for Greek passage will be handled here.              

DAY 5         DATCA – SYMI 

After breakfast, we move to Symi. A short sail to Symi,  with a break for swimming and lunch prior to entering the harbor. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity for sightseeing along the sea front adorned with 19th century neo-Classical buildings and the interior of the town. Those interested may visit the Panormitis Monastery situated in the south of the island. For those who like walking the island offers pleasant roads and byways.

DAY 6        SYMI – RHODES               

Pass to Rhodes after breakfast. The walls of the medieval Crusader castle of the Knights of St. John are visible from the harbor.  Time after lunch to visit the walled old town with its numerous shops and streets dating to the Crusader era. Following dinner on board, opportunity to experience the colorful night life of Rhodes. Overnight stay in Rhodes harbor.

DAY 7       RHODES – CENNET ISLAND (MARMARIS)

After breakfast, clear out from Greece. Continue cruising to Marmaris, where Turkey will be entered again. Swim stop in Kumlubuku,  as the name suggests, Kumlu­buku (Sandy Bay) consists of a long sandy beach surrounded by forested mountains. Time to enjoy a leisurely meal, swim and snorkel in the aquarium clear waters. For the night, you can stay in Marmaris to explore the town & the bazaar, or stay in Cennet Island for overnight.

DAY 8            MARMARIS – DALAMAN

Leave your yacht in Marmaris after breakfast for transfer to Dalaman Airport.
